Wedding Services

Edit @ Portland Basin is the ideal place for intimate wedding receptions, family gatherings and business functions between 8 & 60 persons. We specialise in daytime, early evening or even, 'second time around' wedding receptions and have a delightful dining room which opens onto our courtyard overlooking the Portland Basin Canal.

The contemporary, elegant surroundings make everyone feel at home with none of the 'empty' feel of a typical hotel function room.

We have the expertise to discuss your particular requirements with you and we will ensure that all the little details are taken care of so that your wedding day goes off without any problems. Here are some points for your information:-

Wedding Menus

We have a number of pre-set sit down and buffets menus which are designed to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. If you prefer we can tailor/design a menu to your exact requirements.

Barbecues

During the summer period, on a Thursday through to Sunday night we can organise small informal barbecues. Our private outside courtyard makes any occasion that little bit different and enjoyable.

Discos, Live Music and Entertainment

With advanced notice we are able to organise discos, live entertainment and various other forms of family entertainment.

Wedding Recommendations

We know of many local and national suppliers for wedding items such as stationary, wedding cakes, favors, flowers, transport and overnight accommodation. We will be happy to source these items as a packaged service for you or give you a list of contacts and recommendations.
