and unique dining experience in Tameside. We utilise the best regional produce
and are fully licensed. Located on the canal side at Portland Basin in
Ashton-under-Lyne, diners can enjoy city centre food in the tranquility of
the suburbs. With ample parking and close proximity to the town centre, Edit
is an ideal venue for any event. All our food is prepared on the premises from raw
ingredients with no additives or preservatives and we offer a range of
vegetarian options. During the daytime we offer a varied lunchtime
snack menu suiting both working diners and visitors to the adjacent museum –
the emphasis is on healthy, traditional favourites. After dark the mood changes and edit offers a
sumptuous menu with seasonal specials to satisfy every palate. Our friendly and efficient team offer a warm
welcome of all guests – family and disabled groups particularly! Edit have already won awards,
picking up the ‘Best Use

be hired for private functions and can cater for up to 60 people, making it
